What really gets me...My mom sweat to those oldies. What really gets me about Richard Simmons is how emotional he gets when people give testimonials about how they felt horrible and ugly and then he helped them and stuff. He's insane, yet oddly genuine.

Celebrity could be nothing but distortion. That's what makes it bearable I think. People are mocking or celebrating a person they've invented so the real person underneath might have a chance of survival. Unless they're Brittney Spears. Though even she is apparently making a come back.Mirandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11744142340960124454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8975445349407458580.post-46882648590295067662008-09-22T05:41:00.000-07:002008-09-22T05:41:00.000-07:00You guys are too young. Wow.

I recall reading not too long ago that Simmons is in fact Christian (possibly Catholic?) but I could not find a reference this morning. But I think you are right about him; he genuinely believes his exercises help. In fact, they helped V shed quite a bit of her pregnancy weight a number of years back!Remigiushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09007520254353915998noreply@blogger.com
